Emily: "I'm really glad you drove. I took a sleeping pill about an hour ago, and it's starting to hit me."

Me: *panicface* (because she had offered to drive!)

Emily: "Hahahaha, your face just now was GREAT!"

Me: (recovering) "I am driving us to every single function we ever go to together for the rest of our lives."

So, that was an interesting party. I've never been forced to go to a party before, which really set the tone for this evening. I sat on a couch with a guy laying on the floor on his back at my feet and felt triumphant that I had found someone to shield me from everyone else so I wouldn't have to interact with anyone.
